Technology and I are not on good terms. It is the best example of "over promise and under deliver."

I have paired my Samsung A54 (released in April 2023) with my new PP Trim 2023 Mazda CX-5. However, it comes up with an error right away that says "error loading google maps." Needless to say that makes Android Auto a completely useless app. i have never tried this before, and it will work on the phone while in the car, just not in the car's navigation system. I am not running the engine while doing this, the system is "on," however. I would welcome any help and assistance.

 

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling AA? Sometimes there is a glitch. Also, try other cables if you haven't yet. AA works great in my '21 with a Motorola Ace 5G. You should be using the same interface as me. Do other apps work for you? Have you tried Waze?

 

Oddly enough, I tried it again the next day and it worked just fine. I have no idea why, and I will not look a gift horse in the mouth. Technology and I have a mutual dislike more often than not.

 

Have you tried different cords as mentioned earlier?
