I received the gas cap warning and i read that the solution could be replacing it for a new gas cap. I did and i'm still getting the message even tho it's been more than a week with the new cap. My car is a CX5 2018 Grand Touring

What do you guys suggest u should do next? Thanks in advance.

 

How many miles have you driven since changing the gas cap? Usually it can take 50 miles and/or a few driving cycles to clear the code. If it won't go away, then the next best step is to get a free code read from a place like Advance Auto or Autozone to figure out the next steps.

 

What Alex said and you need to scan your ECU for DTCs in all areas and check the I/M monitors.
