Default Fuel brands and quality

I saw this and it pretty much confirmed my experience over decades of driving and even more so with the direct injection engine(s) in my CX5s -

GREAT VIDEO

100% agree and OFTEN post those gas stations to use.

my top 2 in order of use is

Chevron
Shell

Everything stated in that video while may seem just another video there is empirical data and infortion that supports all the information.

Believe it or not..

Knowing the more popular premium quality brands is what I still use such as BP, Caltex, Shell. However, there are so many that I have yet to try, and I would like to know if I should consider trying them such as AMPOL, Budget, Liberty, Metro Fuel, United. Any suggestions if I should consider theses brands? I tend to use 98 premium for my vehicle.

It not about trying more as doing your own research to find out what the brand formulas are and how they rank in your country for performance and other attribution or not as a possible alternative. This ain’t wine tasting . 😂

You need to see which ones are listed as high tier/high quality in your country. I try to stick to a select group of stations that I know and trust.
