Well, as expected, been holding forever on the phone from my dealer. Next call, different dealer - service/phone operator? said all hitches are on backorder with no ETA available. No clue on installation cost either. Jeeez, what crappy dealer experiences.
Is there any drilling or other 'invasive" type work that needs to be done for the install?

If you are just going to use it to hold a step or bike rack, then you don't need to worry about trailer wiring.
