Fried infotainment system
Hello all! So, unfortunately my computer system got messed up when jumping off my 2021 Mazda cx-5 back in December. Unfortunately, it sparked and I’m sure it messed up some type of computer within my infotainment system. My question is, I’m trying to figure out what possibly could’ve went wrong, what would possibly need replaced, and how much it would be. I’ve been reading in different places that the whole thing would need to be replaced and that’s like 3 grand. Just trying to get an idea. Thanks in advance!
There are many possibilities (I'm assuming you've checked all your fuses).
You need to determine if you "messed up" your computer system.
You can only do this by getting the entire computer/electrical system diagnosed for any possible errors.
This will show if your ECU is working correctly and if power, at the correct voltage, is getting to where it needs to be.
