Well I guess they weren’t as expert as you thought. After reading your response I would get your battery rechecked lol
welcome to the forum
Battery was only 3 months old and it tested perfect.
The experts were a battery, sparky company with top credentials. Still using the same battery 6 months later.

Top Credentials... auh ok then.. LOL
Maybe read this thread completely, how did you determine it was only 3 months old. And then there is how you responded which for me and my TOP CREDENTAILS indicates the person(s) that worked on your Mazda were not!
anyway it doesn't matter if you are satisfied that is all that counts.....
BTW you would be one of the few and even I don't carry a "main power supply fuse" in any of my vehicles. If the main electrical circuit protector really did blow and if they do you have a problem that needs addressing. And if the contact was degraded then that itself say something that should have been loo into the cause. Maybe you described the wrong part? This is what you post is in your way of describing what you bought as a spare is . Electrical Circuit Protector
Right! those fuses sit up on the side of the battery but that is not them. I'm currently moving from QLD to NSW so when I have a chance I will post a picture of the fuses in the main fuse box on the left guard. They are actually the fuses in the box closest to the front of the vehicle
As Cali pointed out not keeping the engine bay clean, which very few people actually do, can cause all sorts of issue.
I've never been to Australia, but it appears to me you will be moving from one potentially dusty area at times to one that will be more so.
Where I live, we get snow, sleet and ice part of the year which requires sanding and salting the roads which creates a mess in the engine bay.
The rest of the year it is falling leaves, blowing road sand, heavy fog and small critters.
I check my engine bay frequently and clean it several times year.
Just did so last week.

Just took this minutes ago... we are "clean" minded owners.
