My 2017 Mazda 3 has an Electric Parking brake in place of the Manual Hand Brake Lever. When we first got the car it was not intuitive to go to the switch to apply the handbrake--and my wife and I still have to make sure we have applied the handbrake. Is there some way to make the car apply the handbrake automatically when the engine is turned off. it makes a lot of sense to me for the handbrake to automatically self apply when the engine is turned off.
