Hello Mazda Forum!
I am new here but have a long history over on Mbworld as a moderator/member (Mercedes forum owned by the same people that own this one). Hope to get to know you all here as I love my Wife's CX-5 and family owns/owned 3 of them!
So enough about me and back to my question/issue.
Does anyone know if the door switch is integrated into the door lock assembly on our CX-5s?
When I open one of my rear doors the dome light only likes to come on when it feels like it.
If I play with the door handle it will come on usually but not always.

Normally I would just take the door apart and try to lubricate it and such to see if I can get it working well again.
That said since I figured out how cheap Mazda parts are I am thinking if I can confirm the switch is inside the mechanism I will just buy one and swap it and save myself the hassle of having to take it apart twice and having to steal the wife's car twice to fix it.
Found the part was $60 just can't believe it as the same part for my Mercedes is like $500! lol
