Default Display says backdoor is open

Hi. I have a CX-5 2013 sport edition. Since last week the display shows that the backdoor is open but it is shut and whit no Slack. Is it any sensor i could check out or maybe any other possibility?? Can’t Get to a mechanic until the end of the Month.

Back door as in LR or RR? or the tailgate?

If you take it to Mazda, they will hook up their diagnostic computer & can read which door is at fault.

There is no separate sensor, it's all built into the latch/catch assembly.

it’s the door to the trunk. I Will take it to Mazda then, just have to wait for two weeks.
