I have a 2013 mazda cx5 its the 2L 6 speed manual i was told that its supposed to have day time running lights but then people have also told me there. Not supposed to sose anyone know

and his location is probably either South Africa or Maryland. If Maryland, the 2013 CX5 had running lights as standard equipment according to Edmunds. I don't know about South Africa.

I believe there is a procedure for turning the DRL's on or off (rather complicated as I recall, but not difficult). I don't know if that applied to the 2013's though. I seem to remember a thread here detailing it. So, they could have been turned off by a previous owner or there could be a problem with the lights (anything from just a fuse to a wiring problem or a switch) or it could be (if South Africa) that the DRL's weren't present in a foreign configuration.
