Default CX5: which trim to buy

Hey guys,

I'm in the market for an used 2023 CX-5 in Canada. At one Mazda dealership they're trying to get rid of their 2023s and they have a GT, Sports Design and Signature trim available all at the same price. I'm coming from a 1st gen Mada3 with none of these standard features. I'm not really interesting in the turbo engine since I have a young family and mostly do shorter trips. My question is the 360 camera worth it? How many km are you losing using the turbo engine vs the non-turbo?

I did find with my test drive parking at a busy mall with the 360 camera was very helpful but also not too difficult to park a GT model in my condo parking stall when I test drove that in another car dealership.

If you want the camera you have no choice but to get the Signature. If they are all the same price its a no brainer to me to go for the highest trim, right (unless the Signature has a ton more miles than the others)? I love my turbo. I think you will too.

Ditto. Exactly how I'd approach it.

Purchase the one you want that best suits your needs.
Deferring to others to make that decision for you really makes no sense.

Ya I am in agreement. I often get friends and relatives that want me to find them a vehcle. NO fricken way....LOL
Aside from we all know that their taste is not close to mine, but I would become married to them for everything that might have a service needed and they tend to think (assume) it would be free.

Well its been almost 3 weeks - so you must have pulled the trigger --- I have a 1st gen3 ( unless you consider the 2010-11 gen 2 with the 2.5)--and its night and day unless you have a 2012- 3 with the skyactive -a unique one off year ----- I still have my 3 and suggest on the CX5 : -ALL the cameras - 19" rims - Bose a must , rest is your call -- - what did you get ??- You will find learning to drive a 14:1( Canada-Europe) CR miller cycle engine takes some adaptation after driving a Port injected 9:1 Atkinsons cycle 4 --
