Default Yes, I am crazy!

8 months ago we bought a new 2022 Snowflake CX-5 Turbo. Absolutely great car. While in for service last week the sales manager said if I was ever interested in selling it he’d buy it. I asked what he’d give me and it was about $3500 less than I paid for it. After a little back and forth we sold it to him a few days later. We usually trade every couple years so this was early but what the heck…. I thought we’d move up to a Lexus RX, NX or an RDX A-Spec. After driving all 3 my wife said she thought selling the CX-5 was a mistake and wished we had it back. She was right…I told her we’d look for another one. In the meantime I found a 2020 Mazda6 GT Reserve Snowflake/parchment and was trying to talk her into it when she found a Certified 2022 CX-5 Signature on Autotrader. It had half the miles (5k) that our Turbo had and we were able to buy it for just $1500 more than the other dealer paid us for the Turbo. It was the general managers car. So we moved up to a Signature ($3k more when new) that has the Mazda Certified 100k warranty and had half the miles for $1500 plus tax. I consider myself lucky to have pulled this off. What started out looking like a big mistake selling the Turbo turned out ok, and as the old saying goes “happy wife = happy life”

Just in this case it's okay to be crazy, congrats on the new vehicle, cool model and what not to do for the wife
By the way, guess you like white trim better than piano,
on the long run.

Congrats on coming back to the CX-5 so quickly

Any thoughts on going from turbo to non-turbo?

The new one is a Turbo Signature, the only way they come. I’ve had this turbo engine in 4 Mazdas: 2018 Mazda6 Signature, 2020 CX-9 GT, 2022 CX-5 Turbo and this 2022 CX-5 Signature. It’s a great motor. Now I have the peace of mind that it’s 100% protected with the Mazda Certified Warranty. My wife is happy and so am I. 😁

I really liked the piano black exterior trim….but the black wheels drove me crazy. Even after a short drive they looked dirty. I have black BBS on my ‘21 RF Club and the black TRD Pro wheels on my Tundra….I am constantly cleaning wheels because I’m OCD🥴🤦🏼‍♂️😜

Oh OK, for some reason I thought the Signature is non-turbo. And 100% agreed, having a 100K miles warranty is indeed sweet.
Congrats again!
