I was looking on the internet and some say 2000lbs and other 1500lbs.


However, this was for the cx5 2014 2.5L.


I have the 2.0L version.


Should I expect the same towing capacity?


I want to buy a boat that weight around 1200lbs. I just want to make sure that I will be able to remove the boat/trailer from the water


My campground is 5 min from the boat launch.

I believe all vehicles are required by law to have a placard somewhere which states the legal towing limit. Start by looking for the VIN placard, the information should be either on it or another placard nearby.
