We traded in our 2006 Mazda 6 for a 2024 CX5 GX (base model) . It's like being in the future! We are finding that specs we have on the car do not jive with the spec shett we were given. It says that we have TCS , but there is no 'OFF' where it is supposed to be, down to the lower left of the wheel? The spec sheet also says we are supposed to have auto switch off when stopped and start again. Kind of glad we may not have this. We have other questions too but will save up until we go to the dealer next week , but in the meantime does any one know?

 

I think Mazda removed it in this generation, but they do include an off-road mode button in the image below on some trims apparently that should disable or at least act like TCS is not on.

 

We have that panel, but there is only one switch there and that is for the LAS OFF! I'm wondering if the TCS is just automatic.?

 

Supposedly all 2024 CX-5 models have TCS (it will illuminate momentarily on the dash panel when the vehicle starts).
However, the owner's manual does state the following.
TCS OFF Switch (Some Models)
Which would indicate to me not all models have the TCS OFF switch.
