CX5 Shuddering and losing poiwer
I have a 2014 CX5 Dieseel Auto, 2 days after buying the car it started to hod back and vibrate and lose power. I haave taken to a Mazda dealer on 3 occasions they road tested it they said that they found a fault of holding back and told me to do a few thousand KMs and the fault shold cldear. I drove back to the UK with itand it happeened again whilst away its started to shudder and hold bvack again, this is an intermittent fault and when you put it in neutral and rev it seems to clear and is fine for another thousand KMs it did it again. On returning to spain it happened twice again so we took it back to Mzda.. They cannot find the fault as it does nit display an errort nsg on the computer. Cn anybody help solve this problem as Mazda cannot.

Your problem by your disruption is engine running related. therefore, if the ECU is not failing there "will" be information to access and retrieve by scanning if the scanning is done properly by a trained Auto technician and not just a general "mechanic".
So without the ECU codes and verifying that there is no problem with the ECU and the connection harness to the ECU it would be very difficult to even "GUESS" at what your problem is.

Thank you for your reply, Im not sure what you mean, do uou mean that aafter using the computer anylisis and no faults shown that ther is a further scan to be done that can find the problem
By your wording what you described as happening with no ECU information **IMHO the ECU was not completely scanned or the *ECU is failing or the *connecting harnessis an issue(*unlikley) .
Most that scan for DTC look only at ANY CODES setting of their scanner. There is much more to it than that!
**ASE
The qualified person that should be scanning your Mazda at the Mazda dealership at least be a currently certified mechanic or better yet a Mazda factory trained mechanic. Or a currently certified Automotive mechanic and or Diagnostic technician. A dealership regarding most platforms are NOT required to have any of these as they are all privately owned businesses. So at times if another dealership is not within your driving capacity you may need to find an independent service shop with currently certified induvials.
good luck with that in your country.
