In the states I drive common since to use headlights in fog, rain, snow, dawn, dusk, mountain roads or highways , crowded streets , Smoke from fire, etc,etc,etc,

I may have a switch for DRL but seldom ever use it. Primarily when I TRACK.

 

Same here actually but in the day there aren't too many cops in my area that would know the difference between my DLR or my headlights.
Though I always have them set auto anyway since the one day I didn't and we got pulled over of the interstate for no lights.
My wife was driving, and I had just had eye surgery, and the state cop let us go after seeing my black and blue face but more likely after listening to my pain medicated attempt to explain why the lighst weren't on...
