CX5-2025 turbo premium headlights
Hi to all.
2025, 2.5T, premium.
noticed that even that the headlight switch is "off", both DRL and main beam will turn on, day and night, every time i drive.
its like that the "off" position is not working and in any case, the car make me drive with headlights on.
is that ok? like i want to choose when to use the light and when to turn it off.
tnx,
Tom

Owners manual:
How to turn off headlight automatic setting Mazda 2025 CX5
To turn off the automatic headlight setting in the 2025 Mazda CX-5, follow these steps:- Locate the headlight switch: This is typically found on the stalk or dial on the steering column.
- Turn the headlight switch to the "Off" position: This will disable the automatic headlight feature.
- Check for auto-light control: If your model has auto-light control, it may turn off the lights automatically based on ambient light conditions. Ensure the light sensor is not obstructed for proper operation.
Ohio has that requirement as well, but I assume it's not enforced based on what I see other drivers doing (not turning the lights on). Of course, I still see a few who don't turn them on after dark as well. They may be able to see, but that doesn't mean others can see them. A lot of idiots out there.
