Angry CX5 2020 brakes liquid is DOT3 ??!!?!?

Hello, my Mazda is made 12.2020, on a brakes liquid cap I see DOT3!?
my voyager is made 2004 and use DOT4.
So can I replace dangerous and long tame rejected DOT3 liquid with DOT4 or better?

You can mix or use either unless there is a specific WARNING or Requirement by the auto manufacture on specifically what to use. This is not to be confused with a recommendation.
To put it another way DOT 3 can be mixed with DOT 4 and vs versa.

I would be safe and use what it says on the cap. Spending a little extra money for the proper stuff for your car is worth it, in my opinion at least.

Default Thanks to everyone who responded. I now have clarity and share:

"Brake/Clutch fluid

SAE J1703 or FMVSS116 DOT-3 or DOT-4"

Unless you are trying to race your CX-5, you will not have any performance issues with DOT brake fluid. Scheduled brake fluid flushes will prevent any issues.

Nothing wrong with DOT3 brake fluid.

Gigo, what makes you afraid of DOT3 fluid. Its far from dangerous.

Also, what makes you think DOT4 is any better for a street vehicle?
