Hello all, just joined this forum..seems pretty good.
I currently have a 2005 Mazda 6 with 350,000km on it, its been pretty good to me..lol
So planning on upgrading to a new 2016 Mazda CX5, just wondering about pricing...from what is on sticker price..what kind of discount extra have you been able to get. I am not much of a haggler and get frustrated with dealers. So I hope to find out an average discount off the price tag and hope to just say to salesman give that much extra off and then just sign the papers.

ok, my wife got in an accident and car is written off...now we need to get a vehicle asap..nuts..
anyone with info on how much more i can get off of a new cx5?
and i mean how much can i ask the salesperson to give extra off

 

You sound desperate and very much in need of schooling about the basics of negotiating. Not a good combination for someone in the market for a new car. For starters, you don't "ask a salesman to give extra off". You determine what you want to pay for a given car based on research and make an offer. Maybe this thread from another, more active CX-5 forum will be of some help.

i don't want to offer a ridiculous number and then get ripped off in the end, just asking what people are getting extra off of their asking window price...$1000 off, 1500?
If sales guy says no extra off, is that what people are getting?
