Default CX-5 LCD Display Screen Blacked Out.

Hello Everyone,
Bought CX 5 AWD GT couple of weeks back and shockingly today the LCD screen totally blacked out, Nothing is displayed and audio system not working.
Called the dealer and the guy gave appointment on Wednesday(01/2/13) morning.

Guys you have any idea/solutions to try before taking it to dealer.

Thanks in advance,
Adi

Could be something as simple as a blown fuse, I am assuming you did check your fuse box right?

Thankyou for your reply, I did not check any except pushing some buttons on the dash board. By the way I am very poor in car mechanics and also skeptical to open bonnet of a new car on my own.

its real simple just check our owner's manual for your fuse box and see if the radio fuse is still intact, if not replace it. If it blows again it would sound like you have a short, then take it to the dealer and have them check it.
just my 2 cents

Here is the update after taking it to delear shop. "Found poor connection at fuse. reinstalled fuse and found system to be operating correctly". Your guess was right
