I have updated my details.
i have owned this car for seven years all brake discs pads etc have been serviced/replaced as and when required by myself. The issues I am experiencing have only started in the last year. All new discs and pads fitted. Slider pins cleaned and lubricated. When the fault occurs it can be after a few thousand miles. In the last case it first occurred on the new calliper followed several miles later by opposite calliper. Once cooled down all works fine for multiple miles. EPB when manually operated all works perfectly.
However I am tending to suspect the EPB controller but unsure how to proceed and be sure of my suspicions.
thank you for your input.

Agreed. My rear brakes were at 50% life at around 35k. By 76k you likely need new rotors and pads if that hasn't been done (along with servicing of the callipers)

Can help with suggesting the type of independent service shop in GB.. You will need to research one that advertises specializing in brakes.

I would not recommend based on what the OP is describing that it would only need the parts you ar4 listing. There is something else that needs to be looked at and confirmed found before assuming any part replacements or service needed..
