CX-5 2014 Akera petrol auto - thudding noise when turning on hill
Hi everyone. I would appreciate your comments on this issue. For the past few weeks my 2014 Mazda CX5, 80,000kms, has been making a thudding noise / sensation, when turning the car on a hill or ramp, at low speed. For example - driving up a ramp in a multi story car park and turning at the top of the ramp, or completing a u-turn on a hill, produces a thud-thud-thud-thud from the rear of the vehicle. The car creates a much milder version of the noise when turning on a flat surface. Mechanics have stated it's not the wheel bearings and not the front cv joints. Items that have been repaired recently (not all relating to thud-thud problem) include replacing the rear brakes, the front lower control arms, the front link pins, the shock absorbers and the alternator belt and tensioner. The current mechanic now wants to check the rear cv joints and the diff. Has anyone experienced this problem?
