I recently purchased a 2022 Sport Turbo. Have zero complaints with the performance of the turbo charged engine. Very little lag and I'd describe the vehicle as zippy and nimble.

The only issue I'm having is regarding fuel economy. Hopefully I've got the conversions right (I'm in Canada). 250 miles on the vehicle all city driving and I'm getting a little under 17 mpg where as the vehicle is rated to get 21. My wife's Honda Pilot with winter tires is doing better.

If my car had a Turbo I'd not be worried about mpg at all. I'd be having too much fun smashing that gas pedal everywhere I go

I am with you. Just did a 500 mile highway trip. 21.8 MPG average per the in cluster gauge.

Chickdr19,

Maybe it has something to do to the winter gas mixture? Lat year when I did some straight highway driving for a couple of hundred miles, I averaged IIRC, about 25-27mpg at ~75 mph. Lately, mostly city - around 20 mpg. The poor mpg is one of the few disappointments with my car.

Agreed, I always follow general and preventive maintenance on my cars. At my age, 70, I don't drive as aggressively as I used to, but really appreciated the extra torque and power when needed. I vacation in mountain areas and the turbo is nice in thin air.
