Default Audio Distorted at all volume levels - help

I have a 2010 Mazda 3 and literally overnight a couple weeks ago I noticed the audio has become "distorted" at all volume levels on all speakers. The best way to describe it is it's like there is too much voltage going to each speaker, likeit's trying to play "too loud". Talk radio is where you can really hear it best (worst); the distortion is the same at all volume levels - 10 to 30, for instance.

Any ideas? I have bass set to -3 right now to help but that's ridiculous. It's like I hit a bump and some dial inside the radio was turned to 11.
