Their output is significantly reduced from their younger days
Generally, have leaking head gaskets, which can render them incapable of performing
Wheels are generally a bit wobbly which would only compound my ambulatory issues should I mow under the influence
They drip and/or leak, burn internal lubricants which makes for all sorts of issues
Their chassis usually show significant wear and tear, fading and over all generally decline
The muffler/silencer is almost always shot and being married for 48 years I don't require additional harmful decibels in my ears.

Life is short so trade cars in every year? I don't see how that is living. Cars have personality and you can make a connection with a car and get to know it inside and out.
A shame??? Why remain with an inanimate object any longer than you want to or have to? Life is short. Death is long.

Cars have a personality because they are an extension of us. They reflect our personality as well. I understand buying cars every year. I use to do the same. It gets old once you grow up. (I'm not saying YOU, specifically)

I would add that one who purchases a car every year is dreadful with money and/or has far too much of it.
They also suffer inexcusably from the inability to truly know themselves and their desires; always searching for something, a something they'll never find.
But alas, such is life, we can't all be masters of our own lives. There are after all, but a few of us special folk that can accomplish that.

I would add that one who purchases a car every year is dreadful with money and/or has far too much of it.
They also suffer inexcusably from the inability to truly know themselves and their desires; always searching for something, a something they'll never find.
But alas, such is life, we can't all be masters of our own lives. There are after all, but a few of us special folk that can accomplish that.

Most available retail cleaners may be abrasive but better quality products used in many Detail shops and if you wash your vehicle properly reduces drastically the formation of swirl marks.
Rinse by Spraying a vehicle completely with water.
Spray forced/pressurized soap mixture completely on vehicle.
Repeat... Rinse by Spraying a vehicle completely with water.
Wash all tire and wheel first using a separate bucket of water and soap and designated washing pad, mitt or glove
Hand wash one panel at a time using a designated washing pad, mitt or glove softest material available.
Rinse panel with water
Rinse designated washing pad, mitt or glove in separate clean water with dirt catcher at the bottom ring out water before reinstalling in bucket with sop mixture.
Repeat the remainder of panels https://exoticcarcare.ae/.
During the washing keep the vehicle sprayed down wet to prevent water spots form forming
When all the panels have been washed do a final rinsing of the complete car and tire& wheels
To dry use a combination of lint free cloths design to dry a vehicle and even a squeegee also designed to remove excess water on panels and then a wile follow up.
This way of hand washing even on a black painted vehicle will reduce swirl marks to almost none existence. What does form can easily be polished in minutes with a soft polishing liquid and a lint free cloth.

The manual advises not to take a Solterra through a power car wash because of the power spray getting into the traction battery and charger connection. I live and drive on dirt roads a lot, and also salted pavement in winter. The traction battery must be coated in mud, salt etc. Would a Touch Free car wash help, or is that still harming the battery? What is best to do? Try to use a garden hose on it? Not try to wash it? Drive in puddles?
