Brake switch tape off point for electric brake controller
I'm installing an electric brake controller on a 2017 CX-5 and I need to feed the brake switch signal to the controller. Is there a spot under the hood or under the dash to find the brake switch wire? I can run a wire from the back of the car if need be but if the brake signal is under the hood it would be easier. So far I cannot find a wiring diagram from the brake switch circuit online.

What year is your CX-5?
If you don't have a model specific wiring loom, the safest option ( think module damage) is to run a wire from the rear brake light to the electric brake module.
