Interesting. I always thought Shell - especially V-Power was the top f the top.

Nearest Chevron to my location is 70 miles. So need to stick with Shell, Exxon, or Mobil.

Shell is defiantly good, but DYNO results don't lie that is unless you set the program up to tilt in favor of something! I did say power result to be clear.... perhaps MPG may be a close competition between other fuels? IDK I never did DYNO pulls just to find the best gas for MPG but many of us did test retail pump fuel in different parts of US for DYNO resulting in higher average power runs. I will say it converted me from being a regular Union 76 user except for Race Fuels.

Actually, I am also looking for the gas with the best (if it can even be measured) detergents to keep those valves clean.

Chevron.....I have no doubt as I have scoped my engine several times, changed and examined the spark plugs several times and several oil changes and analysis over its 35,000 life . Maybe other fuels might have the same effect but why would I experiment from a workable, predicable and performance level fuel?
As fun experiment I tool 3 glass jars and filled them with Shell, Chevron and Costco gas. Placed several bolts and fasteners having grease and well worn and carboned up sparkplug and and well carboned up spark plugs in each container all parts from the same blown engine and vehicle. The after a couple days the shell and Chevron the item were noticeably cleaner, the Costco gas barely dissolve the grease on one fastener. I would not conclude anything from this except I won't use Costco fuels in my engines.

Costco is a Top Tier listed fuel so it should be fine. And a lot less expensive.

Hmm, interesting thought. You are assuming the electrons will all be the same, but maybe someone like Porsche will develop turbo-electrons to work with their Taycan turbo And Tesla will have plaid electrons.

I know itsa joke but many actually believe this. Maybe more like closer to 20 years.

The part about the charging cord is funny.

Being on a top tier list of fuels does not mean the best fuel and Costco fuel generally is the worst gas for the best MPG or consistent MPG and has shown time and time again does not help produce and support as much power from the engine. Also, it is not the least expensive either. And to get the best discount I think you need to be a COSTCO member. BTW for all you who think COSCO is the cheapest for products, not so in fact most or their stock is at or higher than many retail stores. If we have a COSCTO employee in upper-level management, they can pop on and explain how the retail program pricing works. lol
