Default Bought a 2024 Carbon Edition!

I traded my 2018 CX-5 Touring with 52K miles for a Carbon Edition today. I really like the Polymetal Gray with Red leather seats and black wheels. Not much different than my 2018 in many ways but the quality remains impressive.

What is the popular choice for a rear bumper protector?

This is also my first experience with CarPlay. Not wireless but looks like it will be fun. An unexpected surprise was Mazda now uses USB C connectors instead of the USB A connectors. So just ordered some on Amazon. Far from my first car, but new cars always bring a smile to my face.

I would highly recommend a couple of things. PPF on the front of the car (bumper/hood/quarter panels) and have them do the center of the rear bumper as well to protect it without being seen (I have the OEM rear bumper protector, but don't really care for its looks- it was already on the car I purchased). Also, a nice tint on the front windows to match the rear of the car.

Congrats on the new purchase.

I git a wireless CarPlay adapter for my 2023 CX-5 and it work fantastic. Usually syncs immediately but sometimes require a little longer.

I ended up getting this rear bumper protector form Weathertech and it looks awesome on my Carbon Edition. Definitely needed it on my car after scraping it from getting a water heater at Lowe's. Now my car looks nice lmao.

Even with the OEM protector on mine, I use a blanket draped over the bumper when loading heavy items as I don't want anything scratched (bumper or protector).

Yah I hear you there. Anything to keep the really thin paint from being scraped off!
