Default On Board wf fi setup

Is there any one out there that can give me step by step instructions on setting up the trial period of the on board wifi in my 2021 CX5 GT, I get to "set up wifi hotspot" but then I don't get any farther. I have checked out the online info's on this, but they say to access quick links, and I cannot find that. I have the my Mazda app downloaded to my smartphone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I read somewhere that it is already set up and ready to go on the 2021's and I can sit in the vehicle in my drive way and have wifi on my smart phone, but don't know if this is the car wifi or just because I am close to the house and accessing the wifi there.

If you really want my opinion, avoid those free trials unless you are willing to pay for the service or have soliciting you for the next 5 years.

That said, it seems I accidentally stumbled on your answer when I was looking for mobile hotspot devices:
Verizon FAQ: https://www.verizon.com/support/connected-car-faqs/
Mazda Specific: https://www.verizon.com/support/conn...ar-faqs/#mazda
Mazda Free Trial Sign Up: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-229099/

Apparently it's also supported by AT&T, but I didn't see T-mobile:
AT&T: https://www.att.com/plans/connected-car/vlt.html

So there you go, hit up your local wireless carrier, not Mazda.

Interesting - we have Verizon for our cell phones, but when we activated the wi-fi in the car only ATT was given as an option. Also learned something new - never heard of the Harmann Spark device. Neat way to add a wi-fi hotspot to any car.
