Where is the Bluetooth Module on the CX5 because I need to replace it on a 2015 model because it's doing the same thing with USB music playing same song!
Thought it was behind glove box but it's not. I have a feeling that it's in the middle console just want to verify though! Any diagrams available?

 

Usually It is, unless you have a system without center display, in that case Bluetooth is located in front right trim.

 

Thanks for verifying! I assume it's on the center console front left or right to the side and not the middle?

 

I'm attaching the procedure, you'll have a better sense where it's mounted. In cars with center display TAU (tuner) lives there. It's necessary to remove glove compartment, scuff and side trim.

 

Well, the Mazda CX5 2015 that I have didn't have the Bluetooth module in that location! I bet you is in the center console either on the left or right side??

 

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know if it is possible to obtain the updated bluetooth module that is supposed to resolve issues with SMS messages and music restarting from the beginning after every restart. I have read about the TSB that was issued years ago but going the dealer route now I've heard can be costly. Is there a mazda part number?? 2014 CX-5 Touring Bose system
