Blue smoke from exhaust
Hello everyone,
My mazda Cx5 started giving off blue smoke, initially I suspect a blown turbo charger, however today it's showed the clogged dpf message on the dash
Could it just be the dpf causing blue smoke if oil is somehow being burnt by it? Or could a blown turbocharge cause a dpf to be plugged as a consequence? i just really dont want this to be a repair costing thousands
Any thoughts are appreciated before I find time on this weekend to take it to a garage

Its to bad we don't know if those are actual many separate incidences or a few people joining several forums and posting the same issues?

This is true. Lots from the UK where I am sure more diesels were sold.

Maybe grimreaper has some info about that ? I have not read anything that really support that but then i dont read all the out of US service peridicals and couterman seldom report outside of US and canada about things like that
