Default Blue smoke from exhaust

Hello everyone,
My mazda Cx5 started giving off blue smoke, initially I suspect a blown turbo charger, however today it's showed the clogged dpf message on the dash

Could it just be the dpf causing blue smoke if oil is somehow being burnt by it? Or could a blown turbocharge cause a dpf to be plugged as a consequence? i just really dont want this to be a repair costing thousands
Any thoughts are appreciated before I find time on this weekend to take it to a garage

Too many possible issues to run thru online.
Best to get it checked out ASAP and then decide on how to proceed for any required repairs.

Agreed. It seems the 2.2 D has some issues with all the threads I see on the forums.

This is true. Lots from the UK where I am sure more diesels were sold.

The 2.2 diesel is a troublesome engine..

It doesn't help that alot of them are used for roundtown driving.
