Hello XXXXXXX
We believe driving should be as enjoyable as possible through the connection you have with your Mazda. To further this connection, Mazda recently announced it would be bringing Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to you.
We would like to announce that this kit will be now available for installation on 2014 and newer Mazdas equipped with MAZDA CONNECT! This is the perfect gift right before the holidays!!
As a customer of XXXXXXX Mazda, we want to give you the first opportunity to customize your Mazda with this useful technology, allowing for seamless, digital connection to your Mazda.
For our loyal Mazda customers, we are offering this upgrade for only $399 plus tax, which includes parts and labor. “

While the can charge different amounts for different regions, 399 or 199 plus labor may be about the same.
I am surprised by this news. I thought it was only available for the more recent vehicles. I may look into upgrading if I don't trade in my 2015 Mazda 3 for a 2019 Mazda 3.

My wife contacted Beach Mazda in Myrtle Beach, SC and talked to the salesman that sold her a 2017 CX-5 Grand Touring and asked about the Android Auto upgrade. She was told it was considered "an added option" for her vehicle. The total cost was about $425 about half for parts and half for labor and taxes.
