No, it would be super expensive. You would have to change/modify the whole drivetrain, and reprogram the computer and possibly modify the suspension. Way cheaper to just buy an AWD. Just trade it in for an AWD model if that's what you want.

I think it's great i've been getting feedback on here. could I ask if I just got the Cx5 would it be smart to go back and trade it back in for something w Awd? would that be more expensive in total?

Imo, less hassle and less expensive to trade it in for an AWD. Unless it some old project car your toying around with, just trade it and get the AWD CX-5. Go to a couple different dealers and see who gives you the best car deal with trade. Don't forget to avoid the CD models and turbo model years with the cracked cylinder problems. Imo, get a 2022 or newer.

First thing to decide.
Is do you really need an AWD and why.
I have no idea where you drive, but you list Missouri as your home state which has a very minimal annual snowfall.
FWD drive obviously is much cheaper to purchase and maintain.
The AWD CX-5 has something like 27 or more sensors to maintain traction control.
Or 27 more things that "could" go wrong.
Should you choose to go AWD then a trade in (or selling your current CX-5 outright) would be the way to go.

It's not worth trying to add AWD to a car that is FWD. Best thing to do would be selling/trading your current car for the AWD model, IF you need it.

Can I ask why you bought the FWD if you wanted AWD?

If it is for snow \ ice traction you could also keep your front wheel drive cx and get some good snow tires, this will be better than awd and normal tires
