Default Aftermarket stereo for 2014 CX-5

What are some units you guys have installed in your CX-5 of this model year range that you really like? And were you able to add a USB port, say down where the DC outlet is in the dash in front of the gear shift **** (essentially replacing it with the USB port)?

I realize I need to set the various car options such as how the door locks and lighting function before taking out the factory head unit. But I really want CarPlay and to be able to see the GPS map up high on that screen.

I got one of these for my '16 GT and am very pleased:

I can use the OEM Command **** and the steering wheel controls as well.
To your question, I hard wired (spliced) into the factory harness to connect the new head unit to the OEM USB ports in the cubby hole and they both work just fine.

Thanks! That looks nice, but it doesn't appear to support Apple CarPlay?

It claims to be Z-Link system and supportive but I don't have any way of checking for you. Scroll on down a little or contact the sellers - they are very responsive to questions
