I have a new 21 cx5 carbon. I want a bumper protector, but I do not like the chrome look of the OEM. There are plenty of China produced black ones on Ebay, but I am afraid of them being cheaply produced and that it may interfear with auto gate closing.
Has anyone fitted a protector other than the OEM?

Get PPF film installed. You should get it for the entire front of the car anyway if you want the paint to last. Have them do the rear bumper too.
