2024 CX-5 Carbon Edition vs Premium
I have narrowed my choices to the Carbon Edition with Red Seats or a Premium trim. I like the look of the Polymetal Gray with black wheels and accents. The Premium has the updated lights, adaptive lighting, 7” center display and sports/off-road modes.
My 2018 CX-5 Touring has the sports mode and I never use it. So, the small differences are the Carbon Edition has the 4” center display and regular led lights. Does anyone have the new led lighting? Is it worth $2K?
Probably will trade my 2018 with 52K miles.Good to very good condition save a few door dings and minor battles with my garage door. CarMax at $17K, Carvana $17,600 and KBB $16K. Would prefer to trade in at dealership if I get them to $17K.

Go Carbon/Red. I have a 23 carbon/red and love it. My pre-decision survey showed it very hard to find anything other than black or white or tan interior on anything in my price or want to own range. I would have gone more upscale with Mazda if the red had been offered on higher models. My my opinion. Plus it will be a bit more unusual... unless you want something that looks like all the rest, haha.
