The location of the Air Temperature sensor is to the left of your picture past the throttle body and in the side of the intake. A little more effort but still easily done by a DIY.
When you do get it out don’t be alarmed if there is a little oil on the sensor. Very common and also another reason to service clean it at least every 15k miles.
