Unhappy 2021 CX-5 Parking Sensor System not beeping

Hello everyone. When I put my 2021 CX-5 in reverse, it used to beep/make a buzzer sound when a car or a person was passing in my rear. I noticed it doesn't do that anymore. This is also happening with my brother's 2024 CX-5 as well.

We've had snow here in Virginia last week but most of it melted in a day. Could this have something to do with it? Alternatively, was there a software update that turned this feature off?

Thank you!

Up here in Maine, I personally know, frost and snow can block the sensors.
They are located in the rear bumper on the left and right sides.
Warmer temps and/or washing the vehicle generally works.
Some people "claim" going to the infotainment screen and turning the RCTA system off then back on will fix the issue.
Though I have no idea why that would work.

Make sure you haven't accidently touched the park sensor "Off" button.
