Default 2020 Cx5 Oil Leak

I’m having trouble finding the cause for a large oil leak. It’s somewhere near the top of the engine, and dripping onto the drive belts, which is tossing the oil everywhere. It’s also dripping onto the exhaust which is causing smoke/ burning smell.

the oil starts pouring from somewhere on the top passenger side after the vehicle warms, and the blue coolant light turns off.

check engine light/ low oil light are illuminated, but the codes don’t give any indication of where the leak is occurring.

possibly the valve cover gasket? Or the OCV

Check the head for any cracks, as that could be a real possibility.

Undo the 5 10mm bolts from the exhaust manifold heat shield, lift it up, use a mirror to look at the upper backside of the head, and you will see the leak coming from a crack on one or both of the inside 2 cylinders. Do you have powertrain warranty still left for this vehicle?

possibly the valve cover gasket? Or the OCV

so we found a significant leak, and replaced the valve cover gasket.

unfortunately the leak is still occurring, although it has slowed down considerably since the valve cover gasket replacement.

inspected the head, and timing cover both looked fine.

thinking it’s possibly coming from the rear main/ and/or the pressure sensor. Anyone have an opinion are these valid possibilities? Going to do more digging today/ tomorrow to try to pinpoint it. Like I mentioned, the valve cover was definitely the main culprit which caused the massive leak, however there is still a decently large leak below the exhaust manifold, towards the rear of the engine.

Sounds like checking the rear main seal is a must. Usually when it goes bad, it will lead to a large loss in fluids.
