Hi. After a couple of months of purchasing this new car I was driving and experienced a loss of power when trying to accelerate. The rpm monitor keep moving back and forth. Then the car corrected itself. I have had this happen about 4 times now. Twice at a light where it felt like it was going to shut off. All of this with less than 5k miles.

 

What engine ?

 

Does this happen when the engine is cold or hot?
Always accelerating from a stop or also while moving?
How many miles on the CX?
Exactly what fuel are you using?
Any codes/check engine lights?

 

And since it's new, a dealer should be able to diagnose and repair under warranty. But, as Carpe suggests, try to determine the circumstances when it occurs to help in diagnosis.
