2020 CX-5 Brakes
Here we just can laugh about new members doing these negative responses ... for a little while! They tend to go away on their own when they realize no other member put up with reading phrases like the one posted.
I have a late 2020 Mazda with 11000 miles on the clock. I have major issues with the rear brakes. The pads are wearing unevenly, which apparently is caused by the calipers being out of line, and giving a metal-to-metal sound. The dealer from whom I bought my car has agreed to replace everything that needs replacing . Mazda is fully aware of this issue
I have missed your generally lame responses lately! LOL
annnnnnd her ewe go as usual.... LOL
I have a 2020 and have no brake issues, other than they aren't up to my personal expectations, but I normally upgrade to performance brakes and will be doing so with my CX-5.
I have 32K (miles) and just had a service done. The pads checked at about 1/2 wear and will be fine until next oil change.
Without loose bolts or physical damage (accident or intentional) to a caliper how can they "get out of line"?
And if they did, how would most experienced drivers not noticing it immediately and attend to it.

I took my cx5 2021.5 signature model to my mazda dealer in Milton, Ontario for a standard oil change. I have 16,000km on my car. The service guy came out and told me Mazda recommends brake service, without removing calipers every year, to grease the caliper pins only. Cost $340 cdn. I said no thank you, as i have no brake issues. I wonder at these prices, how much they charge for full brake job? Crazy prices.

Sorry I am not at work and can not look at what the actual required scheduling is for your Mazda model and year?
Really? No such thing as a bad batch? You crack me up. How about the cylinder head issues on the 2.5NA? Those were a bad batch....
