2019 Signature 360 and backup cameras stopped working
I have a 2019 CX-5 signature that was bought in March of 2019. Yesterday, the 2 side mirror and rear cameras (front one was rock chipped years ago) stopped working when putting the car in reverse or clicking the 360 camera button to view them. I have tried to doing the reset of the infotainment system (mute, back, nav), reset factory settings, unplug the battery for a bit. I went through the manual to see if it could be a fuse but nothing in the manual states that a fuse is dedicated specifically for the cameras. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be happening? The car did not recently go through any software updates or service, the cameras stopped working out of nowhere.
Cabin fuses side view mirrors:
#10 (7.5A) mirror drive motors
#17 (7.5A) Mirror heaters
However, I believe the backup camera is tied into the same fuse for the display, radio, etc, meaning none of them would be working if it was a fuse issue.
If reset didn't work, you could have a dash harness issue.
Probably best to take it to Mazda dealer unless you want to spend hours trying to find the issue.
Others will likely respond with more knowledge than I.
