Default 2019 Mazda CX5 Touring

I just did an oil change with Mobil 1 full synthetic 0-20 w oil and a Fram XG6607 oil filter. I poured in 4.5 quarts of oil.
Today every time I drive over 6 miles my low oil light comes on. No leaks , should I use a dealer filter. Oil level seems to be fine.

I am afraid that I can offer no insight, but that sounds really strange to me. I don't see how a different brand of oil or filter could fool the car into thinking that it is low on oil.

I hope that someone else can offer an explanation.................................. Frank

Somethings not right. Bad sensor perhaps. As you are stilly under warrantee, a visit to the dealer might be in order.
The Fram XG series of filters is at the top of the field.

This morning I checked the oil level and it was showing low touching 1/4 inch of dipstick. As per the manual I had filled 4 1/2 quarts yesterday. Today I added a quart and drove 20 miles light did not come on. I cannot figure this out.

A puzzle for sure. If you are not leaking, and you'd know soon if so, It still might be worth a scan for
a code at dealer or at least Advance Auto Parts store.
Many would dump in 5 qts and go. A little over would likely not cause a problem as most all engines
are designed to handle a slight overfill.

Agree with Dennis, I would take it to get scanned, just for the peace of mind alone.
