2019 Mazda Cx5 Mirrors
Hello
I am having an issues with the automatic mirrors with my 2019 CX5 mazda
If the mirrors are deployed in the open position when the car is, they will close as soon I start the car
To drive I need to leave the car on and manually pop the mirrors to the proper spot to drive
How do I correct this issue

By following the instructions in your owner's manual, you can disable the function and then reenable it and see if that works.
If that doesn't work take it to a Mazda dealership.
There are also several You-Tube videos that you how to do this as well.
Please note the mechanism can get dirty behind the mirror causing them to operate erratically and freezing temps can also be an issue.

Yep- it sounds like you are starting to experience the mirrors failing. This has been discussed many times on the forums as it is a weak spot in the CX-5. I have disabled my auto-folding setting as I figure it's just a matter of time until I have a problem. They are pretty expensive to repair as well.
