Default 2019 CX-5 all weather mats and cargo tray

(very) New owner of 2019 CX-5 Signature, and very happy with purchase so far. Wanted to check on opinions/recommendations for all weather mats and cargo trays.

I saw some earlier commentary on the mazda oem versus other brands, but it was going back a few years and models. Not all of the after market brands are showing support for model 2019 yet. Not sure if thats just a site update thing , or if the 2019 mats are different (and therefore 2018 mats won't fit).

I have a 2019 cx-5 grand touring reserve. I bought the Weathertech floor mats and the cargo liner. Very happy with them.

Thanks Tompo,

I have seen reports that the weathertechs had a design flaw (around gas pedal cutout) that allows water and salt to collect and drip into the carpets underneath. It may be a lttle late in the snow/salt season for the model, or else you didnt experience this and/or aren't in a rougher winter area.

No floor mat is going to cover every inch of the carpet. I've had Weathertechs on several of my cars. I like 'em.
There is maybe a half an inch, maybe less, between the left side of the gas pedal and the rest of the plastic. Maybe the manufacturer was worried to get too close to the gas pedal(?) I dunno.

The 2019 gas pedal is hinged on the floor instead of suspended from above. Safety concerns dictated increased clearance from the pedal base. All mats would similarly configure theirs the same way. Overall I think the WT's are the way to go.

Another vote here for the WeatherTech. I have them in my 2019 Signature CX-5 and am very happy with them. FWIW, I am fine with the small space (clearance) around the accelerator.

Consider the Husky floor mats. They cover the left side footrest farther up than the WT mats.
