2016 Steering Wheel Leather VS 2017+
I have a 2016 CX5 GT. It has, what I would imagine be faux leather on the steering wheel. I have a 2019 Cx9 loaner right now and the steering wheel leather is much more premium. I have also noticed the 2017-2019 CX5's have this, as well. How come they changed it? Just curious if anyone could shed some light on this.

The faux leather was crap & would wear out/ fall apart with the 3yr warranty period.

Basically they wear out or start peeling due to poor material lifespan.
Take photos of steering wheel, rego plate & odometer & email them to Mazda USA direct. |

What would emailing Mazda do? I went to my delaership at about 30000 Miles and they just said that it's normal wear and tear. I've noticed it peeling at around 20 though. It would be really great if they could replace it before my warranty expires. What do I do if the dealer says it's.normal |
