I have a 2016 Mazda CX-5 touring edition and had a question about my driver side headlight. The lights that I have are HID and have the U shaped LED under the headlight. This LED recently started to have issues and is slowly fading away. I went to the dealer to try and replace the led bulb, but they said that this LED is part of the housing assembly and that I would have to purchase the entire headlight at a cost of $800. Is this true? is there a way to change or repair the LED portion of my headlight?
Thanks in advance

Kings, it is a one piece unit. My DRL went out and I had to have the whole unit replaced. I was lucky enough to have it covered under warranty, so no cost to me.
