Hi all,

I've been offered a cheap 2015 2.2D CX5. It's cheap because of all the known engine issues, and it has 150k km on the clock, but I think I'll take a punt given the price.

Any guidance on the following questions which keep bouncing in my head:
* did the engine recall actually work (dipstick and remap)
* On the overheating issue, is there any proactive maintenance I can do to stop it happening (new radiator cap?). Likewise, does monitoring the water temp with a live display give enough feedback to help avoid it?
* Anything else I should look for or consider doing?
