Hey everyone.. has anyone ever replaced the lower rear torque engine mount? other wise known as Mount #1, side mount, torque mount & dog bone. In the 2wd/Front wheel drive version its super easy to replace as the PTU/transfer case is not in the way. Looks like the shop manual says to lower the entire sub-frame/cross member by .75" to get the clearance. Any other tricks to get it out? I heard in a comment on youtube that all you do is "remove bracket", but that doesn't make sense to me and doesn't give you clearance to get mount up and out out of the slots.

 

so for anyone who's interested.. undo the Transmission mount ( replace it in my case ), jack up the trans about an inch or so, this gives the bottom dog bone/torque mount to come right out easily.
