Default 2013 CX-5 wheels fit 2021 CX-5?

We just got a 2021 CX-5 GT (Canada) with 19" wheels.
Looking for winter rims and located some 17" alloy wheels from a 2013 CX-5
I read (somewhere) that the offset is different for older vs newer CX-5s
Should there be any problems using these wheels?

Thanks

Wheel size is okay, but the offset could be different.
The 2013 has an offset of between +40 and +50mm depending on what model they are on.
Your 2021 has a +45mm offset.

Ok so plus or minus 5mm, Doesn't 'sound' like a lot. Which would be less likely to be a problem on the 2021, 50mm or 40mm?
Is there any way to know the offset of the 2013 wheels in question? i.e. is there anything stamped on the wheel I can have the seller check out?
Thanks!

That's 40mm and 50mm not 5mm.
I won't recommend anything as I'm not a certified technician/mechanic.
You should get someone who is qualified to verify what wheels you can put on your vehicle without causing issues.
Otherwise, you are just rolling the dice as brake clearances are very tight now.

Sorry I was unclear, I just meant that since my 2021 has a 45mm offset and you mentioned that the 2013s could be 50mm or 40mm, then the 50 would be +5mm and 40 would be -5mm

I did phone the dealer and they weren't much help. Just said - yeah they would probably work.
And I feel they probably will work, but it would be nice to know for sure before I buy them
Thanks for your help
